Hi everyone!!! The school held its annual x-country meet today. It was a delightful experience despite the scorching weather and everyone got to participate. Unfortunately, some of 3/1’s top runners were not in tip-top condition; hence our class did not manage to clinch the top position in overall score. However, we did have many of us who managed to come in within the top 50 positions. Our congratulations go to John Mari, the 3rd fastest Sec 3 boy and Ting Yi, the 2nd fastest in the Sec 3 Girls category!
This year, our school initiated a new programme called piggy bagging. Basically, the game involves someone carrying another school mate and walking for 6 metres. It turns out that most of us from 3/1 were just making a fool of ourselves and it was really fun. On a side note, AES has created the world record of piggy bagging! Congratulations, AES!
